DigiPay
Frequently Asked Question

Q: Why are there so many negative reviews?

A: Honestly we don’t know.  Most of the people who have had problems and contacted us are satisfied.  We can’t respond to reviews and always respond to E-mails.  If you have a problem or suggestion please contact us.

Q: Why is the setup so complicated?

A: DigiPay was written by us, a third party to PayPal, and PayPal doesn’t allow third parties to authenticate with just an E-mail and password. The PayPal app for other devices (such as iPhone were written by PayPal).  We have provided many tools and videos to walk you through the set up process step by step.  If you are still having trouble then please send us an E-mail and we would be happy to help!

Q: Why can’t DigiPay send money to my other accounts?

A: PayPal does not provide this functionality.  When it becomes available we will add this feature to DigiPay.

Q: Why does DigiPay say “Use at your own risk”?

A: DigiPay interacts with PayPal to handle money.  If you make a transfer, purchase , or loose your phone we are not responsible for the end result.   We suggest that you use a strong password to protect your account information to guard against theft.

Q: Is DigiPay safe to use?

A: Yes, DigiPay communicates with PayPal through encryption and the user name, password, and signature is stored encrypted on the device itself.  In the event you loose your phone your information is safe as long as they don’t have your password.

Q: Why can’t I use the Address Verification?

A: PayPal has restricted this function.  In order to use this ability you will need to contact PayPal and ask for access to the AddressVerify API.

Q: Why can’t I charge someone money?

A: This is a virtual credit card terminal. To use this feature you will need to log into your PayPal account and accept the Billing Agreement to process credit cards.

Q: Why can’t I request money from someone with their PayPal Account E-mail?

A: PayPal does not provide this functionality yet. When it becomes available we will add the feature to DigiPay. Other devices apps (Like the one for iPhone) were written by PayPal.

Q: When I tap on a transaction in the search nothing happens but it works for other transactions, is this a bug?

A: No, PayPal does not provide details for every transaction type. If no details are available then the transaction details screen will not show.
