Please note some features may require merchant agreement or other setup done through payPal.  DigiPay uses the PayPal API to access account information which currently does not allow e-mail and password authentication.  You will need to set up an API signature on PayPal’s web site in order to use DigiPay. (Please see our DigiPay walkthrough)  In order to get an API signature from PayPal will need a Premier or Business account.  Most personal accounts can be switched to Premier with no additional charges.

What’s inside?

DigiPay provides most operations available on PayPal’s web site in a small easy to use mobile application and integrates seamlessly with the contacts in your phone.  You can use information all ready available in your phone book or add new contacts directly from transaction information. DigiPay requires an internet connection to communicate with PayPal’s system.  Please make sure you have an adequate data plan with your cellular provider. DigiPay supports the same currencies as PayPal does.  This includes US Dollar, Australian Dollar, Canadian Dollar, Euro, Pound Sterling, and many more!.  Please consult your PayPal account for currencies available in your region.

  • Home: You can see you account balance in real time along with your merchant ID and locale.
  • Verify: Verify the address information for any PayPal account by their e-mail address. *
  • Search: Search for transactions made with your account. DigiPay offers eight different fields to make your search criteria.  This includes Start Date, End Date, Transaction Type, Transaction Status, Auction Number, Invoice Number, Amount, Buyer e-mail, Seller e-mail, Seller First/Last Name.  Tap on an transaction to view the details. 
  • Details: Transaction details will display the information available for your transaction including Seller’s name, address, and phone. All the seller information can be added to your contacts with the tap of the button.  You can also see the transaction fees, shipping cost, and tax amount.  From this view you can refund transactions or accept/deny pending transactions. DigiPay is integrated with all of your phone’s applications.  Tapping on the address will bring up the maps, phone the dialer, and e-mail a new message.
  • Charge: This view allows you to charge credit cards for products and services in a virtual terminal.  All you need to is enter your customer information manually or by selecting from an existing contact and payment information. **
  • Payments: Send money to people by entering their e-mail address or selecting one of your existing contacts then the amount.  You can enter multiple recipients with different amounts.  Pay all the money you owe in on action!
  • Preferences: In the preference screen you can update the API settings, your access code, default currency, and country code.  Your API settings are stored encrypted so they can’t be compromised if your phone is lost or stolen.  There isn’t a limit as to how many accounts you can add.
  • Suggestion: Tap on the Suggestion menu If you have a comment or suggestion you want to share with us.

* This requires special setup with PayPal to access the AddressVerify transaction.  You will need to contact PayPal support.
** This option requires a merchant agreement with PayPal and setup done by PayPal to access the DoDirectPayment.  Please contact PayPal support.
